33 Maureen had me put some shelves on the fence so she could hang flowers.
34 -37 4th of July was a lot less busy than last year, but very enjoyable and laid-back
38 - 42 Pilot Mountain State Park. . Maureen and I had a picnic there and then went home to a weenie roast and marshmallow toast. For us senior citizens this is about as exciting as it gets.
43 - 46 Traveling between Martinsville and Fancy Gap, VA on the scenic route to Mt. Airy
47 Along the Blue Ridge Parkway. You can actually see the parkway to the left in the background.
48 A cabin along the parkway. The woman who lived here lived to be about 102 years old and delivered babies for most of those years.
49 - 51 Mayberry Days, Mt. Airy, NC. Yup, that's where the show was filmed. "Mayberry" is two blocks long so it didn't take long to do the takin' in.
52 Pilot Mountain (AKA - Mt. Pilot) just south of Mt. Airy.
53 - 57 We met up with Dan's ex-boss, Gary and his wide Holly for a tour of the wineries in the Yadkin Valley.
58 An end-of-year trip to Ft. Fisher on the coast near Wilmington. This is the Battleship North Carolina at Wilmington
59 - 61 Wilmington scenes.
62 - 66 The Wrightsville Beach Museum. Maureen's 105-year-old patient has her picture in the Museum. Too bad it was closed for the season.
68 - 71 Molly with her Christmas Bow and her sweater that Maureen crocheted for her.
